This year they went from 2 or 3 episodes a night to 8 or 9 episodes. I complained again to my neurologist and he put me on muscle relaxers. Well, DUH! I had to work up slowly but when I finally reached my full dose my leg cramps disappeared. It may not work for everybody and there are some unpleasant side effects (dry mouth, drowsiness) but I’m finally sleeping in big chunks.
